1. Can I send you my cd, demo reel, press kit, etc?

Yes, we are always on the lookout for new talent. However, please be mindful of how your material is sent. If you’re submitting material via e-mail, please include links to an electronic press kit (e.g. Myspace, Sonicbids, Purevolume, EPKhosting, etc) rather than attachments. If sending material through mail, please send to the mailing address listed on the contact page.

2. How do I hire an act on your roster?

To hire a particular artist, contact the agent listed on their artist page. Please include as much detail about the event. We do receive a lot of e-mails so please be patient. We will get back to you.

3. Can I work for The Push Agency?

We will require some assistants in the near future, so please feel free to send in your resume to be kept on file. If interested, please send us your resume.

4. Can my band play with one of your bands?

We receive this question a lot and here is the simplest answer we provide. Hiring bands is typically the role of the promoter – not the agent. So, if there is a particular show that you are interested in getting your band to play, try to figure out who the promoter is and contact them as soon as possible. Granted, there are occasions where we are able to help an artist out who is not on our roster, but we usually have certain acts in mind already. The thing that all of these acts have in common is the fact that they are hard workers. They are out there playing lots of shows, meeting people, postering, flyering, you name it. You can be the greatest band in the world but if you don’t put in all the extra effort, it will be difficult getting noticed.

5. Do you only book musicians? What other types of entertainers will you represent?

The Push Agency has the mandate of becoming a full-service entertainment agency. Eventually we plan on representing actors for film and television, athletes, comedians, etc. However, we decided to start with a primary focus on musicians and public speakers.
